ABSTRACT
Retraction: “Curcumin derivative L6H4 inhibits proliferation and invasion of gastric cancer cell line BGC-823,” by Jianfeng Mu, Xiaodong Wang, Lihua Dong, and Pengda Sun, J Cell Biochem. 2019; 1011-1017: The above article, published online on September 22, 2018, in Wiley Online Library (https://doi.org/10.1002/jcb.27542) has been retracted by agreement between the authors, the journal’s Editor in Chief, Prof. Dr. Christian Behl, and Wiley Periodicals LLC. The retraction has been agreed following an investigation based on allegations raised by a third party, and a request for correction by the authors. A detailed investigation revealed several flaws and inconsistencies between the results presented and experimental methods. Additionally, duplications were found in Figures 2A,C and 4B. As a consequence, the editors consider the conclusions of this article to be invalid.
